Nature-Inspired Filtration Technology
At the heart of BluAct’s system is a material made from protein nanofibrils—tiny structures obtained from food-grade dairy proteins.
These fibrils are combined with activated carbon to form a powerful filtration media that captures the following pollutants with unprecedented efficiency:
 • Heavy metals (e.g., arsenic, lead, mercury)  • Organic pollutants (e.g., pesticides, industrial waste)  • Viruses and bacteria
These hybrid membranes are not only highly efficient (removing over 99% of contaminants), but also non-toxic, biodegradable, and safe for humans and the environment.
No Power, No Pressure, No Problem
Unlike traditional filtration systems like reverse osmosis or UV disinfection, BluAct’s solution requires minimum power consumption, no additional pumps, or high-pressure systems. It works entirely through gravity and passive flow, making it ideal for off-grid or resource-limited locations—like tropical resorts or remote islands.
And because the filter resists clogging, there’s no need for flushing or complex maintenance, reducing both downtime and operational efforts.
